The Farmers
Elevator is a cooperative, which means we are owned by our
customers. In most years our customers who own 1st Preferred
Stock in the Farmers Elevator receive patronage refunds
based on the bushels of grain they sell us and the amount
of drying & storage fees they pay us. In the last several years we returned
2-4 cents per bushel of grain purchased, and 10% of the drying
and storage fees they paid.
